More info on concert: Elektra labelmates Wilco and Natalie Merchant will pair for a series of summer concert dates, beginning with a July 5 performance in Boston, and concluding July 15 at the Winter Park Jazz Festival in Winter Park, Colo. Wilco will be performing material from its new album "Mermaid Avenue Volume 2," on which it paired with English folk artist Billy Bragg to write music to unpublished lyrics from late folk pioneer Woody Guthrie. Merchant is among the guest artists featured on the album.

The concert was recorded in the 16:9 widescreen format despite the fact that few sets were available in 2000 too display the full frame concert. Somewhere a higher quality 16:9 Digital Betacam version of the concert exists.

Natalie Merchant sings from her new album, "Leave Your Sleep." Lyrics from near-forgotten 19th-century poetry pair with her unmistakable voice for a performance that brought the TED audience to its feet.
